Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)
- Duration: Customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without providing any reason.
- Commencement: This period begins from the day the customer, or a third party designated by them (other than the carrier), takes physical possession of the goods.
- Procedure: To exercise this right, customers must inform WAAS of their decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email).
- Obligations of the Customer: Customers should return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day they communicate their withdrawal. They are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods, unless WAAS has agreed to bear these costs or failed to inform the customer that they are responsible for them.
- Obligations of WAAS: Upon receiving the withdrawal notice, WAAS will reimburse all payments received from the customer, including delivery charges (except for additional costs arising from the customer’s choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by WAAS). This reimbursement will occur without undue delay and no later than 14 days after WAAS is informed of the customer’s decision to withdraw. WAAS may withhold reimbursement until it has received the returned goods or the customer has supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest.
Legal Guarantee of Conformity
- Duration: Under EU law, customers are entitled to a minimum 2-year guarantee from the date they receive the goods.
- Scope: If the goods are faulty, not as described, or do not function as advertised, customers can request repair or replacement at no extra cost. If repair or replacement is not possible within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience, customers may request a full or partial refund.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain products, including but not limited to:
- Goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalized.
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
- Goods that are, after delivery, inseparably mixed with other items.
Return Process
- Contact: Customers should contact WAAS’s customer service to initiate a return and receive instructions.
- Condition of Goods: Returned goods should be in their original condition, unworn, and with all original tags and packaging.
- Proof of Return: It’s recommended that customers obtain proof of postage when returning goods.
Refund Process
- Method: Refunds will be processed using the same payment method the customer used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
- Timeline: Once the returned goods are received and inspected, WAAS will notify the customer of the approval or rejection of the refund. Approved refunds will be processed promptly.
